WOW. I am blown away by the incredible quality of this dress. This is the second thing I’ve ordered from La Femme en Noir and I am so grateful I found a company that makes things to last. My standards have become so low from how terribly clothes are made these days that I truly forgot what a well made garment feels like! This dress is made of a nice thick fabric and it’s sewn together beautifully. Fabric has some stretch, and I was nervous because other reviewers said to size down, but I found the XL (my true size) to fit as I hoped it would! The v shape to the bodice is very flattering. I am so glad I purchased this and cannot wait to buy more clothing from this company!

So I took everyone's word for it that this dress runs big and that was not the case with me, but they very kindly sent me a size up at no extra cost. It still fits very snug at the chest and arm pits.

Gorgeous dress. The cut is very flattering. I love the puff on the shoulders, it gives it a little something extra and the lace up on the bodice is so sexy. Although I am wearing a push up bra, the fitted bust area really gives them a nice shape and look and I feel so pretty and sexy in this. My measurements are 34/29/38 and I am 5'10. My waist fluctuates down to a 28 or up to a 30. I sized down to a small in this. After reading other reviews I decided to give it a try even though I am always a solid medium. I actually feel that I could of probably even gotten away with an xs but think that would of stretched out the fabric a little in the bust area. But there is some stretch and room in this for sure and feel very comfortable in it. I love the details and the print with all the hand sketched images from the movie. I love the v in the waist area. This is just a really neat and beautiful dress. One of my favorites.

I was stuck between ordering a S or XS eventually choosing the XS.
It fits like a glove! I’m a bust size 32” B and 26” waist, I was worried my bust would be too small for the style but you can adjust the lacing at the front to suit your preferred look/fit.
The material is stretchy so there’s some give. It’s just a gorgeous dress and I’m totally in love!

Literally my favorite dress. I had to go back and purchase the black velvet version! It’s SO flattering, comfy, and it has pockets. I love going out in this dress, and every time I’ve worn it, I’ve received so many compliments. I feel confident in it and I would wear it every day if I could!

I was hesitant about waiting to order a small or just buying an XS, but I just went with xs even though in the back of my mind I was petrified of putting it on and it being too small. But to my amazement it fit like a glove!
I am 5ft 6in, 135lbs, 32 DD, with a 29in waist, 39in hips for reference. I promise if you’re around that size an xs is perfect. There’s lots of stretch, and the material is comfy. Although I gotta wait till late fall and winter to wear this (I live in fl). There’s always room for improvement so I’d suggest the makers to make the fabric a little sturdier around the zipper, but seriously 10/10 otherwise. Can’t wait to wear it with a corset!!

This is my favorite dress ever! The knit is so comfy and warm but definitely not hot. While it has long sleeves you don't have to forget about it in your closet until the weather is cold again. The print is perfect, if you love the movie, like I do, you'll recognize everything. The puff sleeves are amazing and add to the over the top gothic feel. The dress is wonderful for those who like to stand out but still tame enough for those who might not be super adventurous with prints and patterns. Like the Katrina dress I definitely could have sized down to a small but the medium is still comfy and fits wonderfully. If you're between sizes go down! Current measurements 38-29-40.

I absolutely love this dress more than words can say! It is so soft, so comfortable, so beautifully made and so gorgeous and flattering!! My measurements are 44-37-47, and I got a 2x; it fits beautifully but I could have sized down too as there is stretch. I wish it were three inches longer, the length is awkward, but I will sew a wide black trim along the bottom! Thank you La Femme en Noir for this fantastic collection. I would ADORE this dress in the Serpent print...just saying!!

I waited forever for this dress and it really was so worth the wait. I’m wearing a large and my measurements are 40” 31.5-32” 39” While I easily could have sized down to a medium because of the stretch, it would have distorted the print so I am happy I went with my usual size. The art work on this dress is stunning. Even my co-worker recognized it right away and was very impressed. Be warned that you may need a tank or bralette underneath to make it work safe, but don’t let that stop you from getting this beautiful dress.

This dress is not only extremely comfortable but this print is a dream! I love the extra puffy sleeves, very form flattering. I'm on the large end of a small, measurements are 36 bust, 28 waist and 38 hips. The small fits perfectly but if I were to put on weight I'd want to size up.

I absolutely LOVE this dress! I wore it for Halloween but I'll definitely be wearing it casually throughout the year. I ordered a size up from my regular size thinking the fabric would be stiff but it's actually very stretchy and comfortable. It's also heavy enough to be worn without a jacket in the fall!
