I absolutely love these shorts. I was in between a medium and a large and all they had was a small and a large so I ordered the small, but I figured that was gonna be too small so they replaced it automatically with a large, which happened to fit perfectly and I’m so ecstatic.

Very comfy! The fabric is soft but heavy enough to swing in a flattering way. SO appreciate that they are lined! I measure 37"/47" in 2X and they fit like a glove. I do wish these came in a petite size as they are longer on me than I'd like, but nothing a tailor can't fix!

I’ve always been self conscious about my legs in shorts without tights, and so avoided them, but these shorts are so flowy and comfortable! Really elegant, and I look forward to wearing them throughout the summer and into the fall. I recently purchased a navy blue pair, and hope to get a pair in oxblood. They pair so well with everything!

The palazzo pants are one of my most worn LFEN items along with my beloved Bishop Sleeve tops, but for years I’ve wondered whether the tap shorts would work on me.
Aged 51, all of 5’3” I’m squished into 2X and although I won’t wear them out without good opaque tights, I absolutely love this look on me.
At 51, in the hideous depths of the perimenopause I feel sassy and kick assy which is authentically me. They are super comfortable and have the pockets we know and love!

Wore these for a summer graduation! They are long enough to be appropriate for that kind of an occasion but they were light and swingy enough to be nice and cool in the Florida heat. I got quite a few compliments on how classy and cute they were. They sit up nice and high and snatch the waist without being uncomfortable. I find I have a long torso and these sat at my waist fine without giving me any uncomfortable wedgies. Love them!

I can’t believe it took so long for me to make my first LFEN order, but now I know it won’t be my last. These shorts are flawless! They nip at the waist and flow over my hips in such a flattering manner. I will be wearing them with tights and my 20 hole Dr Martens, but they will also be worn in the summer. I got a medium as my waist can fluctuate from 27.5-29 inches. I’m definitely going to get the navy next to wear in the spring/summer.

I don’t even like shorts, but I am obsessed with these tap shorts. I am SO UPSET with myself for not getting other colors while they were in stock. I’m holding out hope that they’ll be restocked, because I need them!! I border a Small and Medium, but I erred on the medium side, and they’re perfect. Not too tight, but just fitted enough on my 28/29-ish inch waist.

I don't wear shorts a lot, but these are going to get plenty of use. The fabric and the cut (almost skirt-like in volume) make them more dressy than your normal short, but just as easily worn with a t-shirt. I'm usually a 27/27.5" waist, and the small is just right. I'm only 5'2"ish, so it comes to a few inches above my knee.

I am not a typical shorts wearing gal, but these are the best shorts I have ever put on my body! I have wide hips, and thick legs, so I'm always worried about how shorts will look on me - these have NONE of those worries. They're perfect, and I think everyone should own at least one pair.

First off: I made an major good and ordered an XS when I need an L. The customer service team corrected my error immediately and there were zero delays! This is a seriously amazing company with high quality products.
I'm on the shorter side at 5'2", and I like my shorts SUPER short. These are a little longer than I prefer...which works out perfectly because I finally have shorts I can wear to work! They hit mid-thigh and have a lovely drape. My waist fluctuates around 32" with squish, and Large is the perfect size for me.

The Tap shorts are amazing! Go, and get them! I love the flow of them!!! I say they are a tad short only because I assumed them to be longer based on the photos I have been other ladies wearing. First off let me say these are amazing! Only downfall is I’m 5’6 and i have a longer torso so they bunch up in my couch a bit. My rise is like a 12-13. I still love these and I’ll be wearing them forever. I sized up when i could have gotten my usual size. Has plenty of give and they were cooking in our SC humidity. Go out and get these!

I love these ! They’re a bit more relaxed in the waist but that’s doable and fixable with a belt. Down the road I will probably get them taken in but for now I’m goin to enjoy them

I ordered a M. I'm 5'3" and measure 27.5-28" waist, and 39.5 hips.
Due to my waist and hip difference, I was torn for sizing down and I'm really glad I didn't as I think the shorts would have barely covered my bum. The length on these is perfect though, and the weight is lovely for breezy summers. I'm really excited to try wearing these while riding my bicycle as well!
