Elegance with a bite. The Countess Wiggle Dress takes and blends Elizabethan gothic romance with a touch of 1960s flavor. This design was originally created by Micheline Pitt for her brand Vixen for an unreleased Dracula collection. Inspired by authentic vintage dresses from the 1960’s it lives again through La Femme en Noir. The dress is shaped from a firm black ponte that hugs every curve down to a fitted, below-the-knee hem. A wide scooped neckline, low in the front and back, is trimmed in a generous amount of white lace that frames the shoulders and collarbones like a portrait in a haunted gallery.
The full-length sleeves finish in shirred ponte cuffs that flare at the wrist, revealing a cascade of white lace underneath. A ponte liner at the front offers added tummy control for a smooth, sculpted line, while an ITY jersey lining keeps it comfortable from dusk until dawn. It closes with a #5 YKK bridal zipper at the back.
