This elegant gown is crafted from exquisitely crinkled chiffon and features a generous amount of gathering, creating a classic column silhouette. Iconic to the film, Edith is seen wearing this sleeping robe at Allerdale Hall while she unravels the haunting secrets within. The chiffon is lightly ruched all over for a delicate, ethereal feel, and the ruffles are doubled on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and yoke. The raw edging adds to the natural and effortless look of the gown. Fully lined in butter-soft knit and full-length, with gigot sleeves that have dramatic shoulders and interior tulle for added volume. The fitted bottom has decadently thick ruching, and the cuffs are trimmed with ruffled cotton cluny lace. Finished with real freshwater pearls along the inner sleeves and front placket, and a 100% 1.5" (38 mm) rayon grosgrain matching ribbon sash. Pair it with a modern harness for an edgier modern look.

Absolutely beautiful and worth the money. Follow the sizing chart!!!! I was nervous and ordered up and absolutely didn't need to. The length is perfect, I'm 5'7 and it dusts the ground so I could wear heels (I plan on platform crocs for comfort lol) and it will still look perfect. Feels light and delicate, not too heavy or hot for inside. Easy to wear warm things underneath if it's chilly out.
I'm obsessed! It's worth the money - get the best recreation of an iconic dress. It's structured so well that it creates the right silhouette on any body type. The materials and construction are flawless. I can't wait to wear it for events.

The dress is every bit as stunning as it looks in the photos, The quality is absolutely gorgeous and I'm obsessed. As someone from the UK, I was desperately trying to find a review from another UK customer before ordering, mainly to get an idea of import taxes, as that's sadly something we have to think about when ordering from America. I thought I'd leave this review in case it helps someone else. For me, the import charges were around £95, although I'm sure this will vary depending on where you live and your order. I live quite rurally, so your experience may be different. If you're on the fence, don't let that put you off. The dress is honestly worth every penny. To my fellow UK shoppers, buy the dress, buy the dress, buy the dress! You won't regret it.

I bought this as a gift and I can't tell you who was more excited about it, me or her, because her reaction alone was worth every penny. I could feel how high quality it was right out of the box. It is so intricately detailed and picture perfect, the fabric is soft but doesn't lose it's carefully created shape, and it evokes the silver screen dream to life while still being practical enough to wear, and style, for every day life as well. Absolutely beautiful.

Not to be too hyperbolic, but this dress might be my most prized possession. It’s perfect. I can’t imagine my life without it anymore. It’s got a good amount of weight and it helps with movement. It’s beautifully crafted, each stitch was meticulously placed. I can’t find anything I don’t like about it. I’m in love.
Best dress I ever owned! I got it as a pre-ordered it immediately when it came out. I decided to wear it for my 40th Birthday (for giving it a proper Death to my younth). As part of my Birthday celebration, I did a photoshoot inspired by Crimson Peak inside a Historic Victorian Mansion from 1864, this place has now being turned into an Inn and Bed and Breakfast. The dress gown is an exact replica of Edith's and I couldn'tbelieve how well done it is in every detail! The gown is of very high quality, the details are to die for!!!! The gown is a little heavy on the top chest area but so flowy and easy to move in from the waist down. I am very happy and proud to own this gorgeous gown dress. Always wanted one and it truly made me feel like I was a Victorian young maiden haunted the halls of an old Mansion. My height is 5, 5" (it is very long), my weight is 180 lbs and I ordered a size 2XL, the dress is true to size.
The most beautiful dress and fabrics it truly feels like it was sent to me from the movie set! The sizing does seem to be very generous I usually wear a small but got an extra small and still had plenty of wiggle room!

I am blown away by this dress. The texture of the fabric is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric does have some weight too it, but it's not otherwise too, too heavy. I picked 3X based on my bicep as recommended, and while I think I could have comfortably sized down to a 2X, I think the 3X was the right choice. I have measurements of 48-39-52 for reference as to dress width & such! I am 5' tall, so this does pool at the feet a bit, but I love it. Huge fan of the movie, and now I am excited to rep it around Halloween!
I love it! It’s made very well and I’m taller so I like the length a lot. It is more beige irl than in photos since their photos are heavily edited. Which I’d love if they started to at least upload 1 photo that is true to color. But I got this for a cosplay and I’m gonna take some bleach to it to lighten it up so it matches to the movie. The sleeves are structured so well bi couldn’t believe they didn’t flatten at all!

I do a lot of dress-up in period clothing for events and volunteering and this will be a lovely dress to have available for time period attire!

It's a beautiful dress! Though I will say it is very heavy and very hot, and I'm not sure why it's constructed that way exactly. If the fabric was lighter, I don't think it would need as much for the structure around the yoke. That said, it is truly lovely and I can't wait to wear it for my Edith costume! The poofs in the sleeves are truly a wonder!

Everything I wanted and more! It’s a little heavy duty but you can definitely tell it’s quality (and not like a cheap costume remake) I was like a little kid trying it on and have been obsessed since!!!
Since it was a preorder, it took a long while to arrive BUT I received updates and emails along the way. And when it arrived, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! So well made and gorgeous. Quality made. It also fits perfectly.

I’m thoroughly impressed! The quality of the garment is wonderful. The garment itself is weighty and well constructed, and the ruched fabric has such wonderful attention to detail. The pearls are a nice touch as well. The XS fit true to size.
It is even more beautiful and luxurious in person! It even looks antique in the best way and the buttons!!!Totally worth the wait, it is so dreamy. I am 5’4 and XS, (30 bust, 25 waist) it touches the ground a little but with maybe a 3 inch Heel, a Victorian boot reproduction maybe?? Would be perfect. My arms are very petite so the sleeves are great, though I could see how someone with much buffer arms (lol not twig noodles like mine) may need to size up as it doesn’t have stretch. I was accidently sent an xsmall, but the staff were so quick to make it right. I ended up getting a medium instead and it was such a good fit! Returning my other dress was so simple too, they emailed my return label and off it went. Now I can wear this to my convention later this month, I'm so excited!
