Love this dress! It has held up beautifully to years of love. The lace is not scratchy; it's soft and flexible. I have lush arms, and find it conforms nicely. I'm a firm 2x and find it TTS. I have worn it with a black bra and with just the dress as support with both working wonderfully. This was a whimsy purchase that I have not regretted!

Excellent fit, true to size. All of the seams in the lining are cleanly finished, the lace is very soft, the boning flexible but secure! I couldn't be happier. This was my first purchase from this brand and I'm in love with the comfort and quality.

The dress feels pretty heavy. The material is thick and sturdy. The lace is soft and doesn't feel like it'll rip easily. Oh, did i mention this dress has pockets! Big enough to hide a bottle of soju!!
This dress is a size large. My measurements are roughly 36-30-40. Im definitely more on the chubby/ bloated side lol. Sadly The belt didn't fit me but the dress still looks nice without it. It was quite the struggle to zip the zipper up where the waist band lining is at. I struggle with it every time. I do wish the little hook at the very top of the dress was a bit easier to hook. The dress is a bit tight around the waist line. Not much give at all. So don't size down. I'm hoping to lose a bit more weight and maybe the dress will fit me better. The first time i wore it, the moment i sat down i popped the zipper in the back....maybe thats a sign i needed a bigger size. I don't have big boobies (36b) so I figured a size L or M would fit me just fine. I usually wear this dress without a bra and have plenty of room in the chest area. There does feel like there is a tad bit of stretch / breathing room in the chest area. Its literally just around the waist band line that feels really tight.

Absolutely perfect! I was worried it would run small but the fit is exact and looks so good! The construction seems nice too- a solid addition to my wardrobe and I feel so pretty wearing this dress. I’ll be back as soon as I can afford some more quality clothing from this brand.

Beautiful dress & great quality. I am only 5 foot so I needed to have the arms and lace bodice taken in. Also the waist fit great but the under lace top was very big. I actually cut the under part out and can wear an over bust corset and it looks awesome! Gorgeous dress!!

I'm so in love. The only thing that isn't perfect about this dress is the length; I'm 5'2" and ordered a small, and it hits at about upper calf instead of in between knee and calf, where I'd ideally like it. But that is far outweighed by the amazing quality, the fit, the supportive yet comfortable boning in the bodice and, my god, THE POCKETS.

I wore this dress to celebrate turning half a century! This dress made me feel beautiful and helped fulfil my teenage gothic dreams as this is the dress I would have loved to have owned when I was younger!
I got my usual LFEN size (M) and the fit was spot on for me (UK12, 36-30-39).
The bodice is boned, hut I removed the boning without losing the shape or fit (the dress works with boning but my preference is unboned).
The lace is beautiful and had a slight metallic sheen which makes it shimmer in sunlight.
Another gorgeous piece to add to my LFEN collection!

I personally love my dress. The lace is very soft and durable , lightweight and breathable especially in 90degree weather. The only complaint I have is that its not made in petite sizes. I am only 4'10 and the boning in the sides of my dress came all the way up to my armpits which got a bit annoying. My sleeves were also very long so I rolled them up to my elbow but other than that it's perfect. I usually am an xl in vixen however for lfmn I am a 2xl .

This dress is so unbelievably gorgeous, but one thing I don’t care for is the boning simply because it gives me a wonky shape (that’s with all boning). You can size down in this (I did), but it fits more comfortably sticking true to size because the inner lining is a bit tight. Other than that, this dress is so flattering and beautiful! I used it for my engagement photos and it’s so amazing!

I wanted to love this dress. The lace is soft and so pretty and the back is gorgeous. That being said, it seems that due to the boning it is cut for someone taller than I am (5’5”) as the boning bulged at the sides. The bust also seemed to pull down in a not so flattering way. The arms/armpits are also loose, I assume because the lace is so delicate it needs to be to avoid rips, but it did this weird triangle oversized thing, and I was hoping the sleeves would fit tighter. It did not work for me. I love LFEN and Vixen and usually the clothes make me feel amazing, but this was a miss for me.

This dress is beautiful! The lace is gorgeous and soft. Bust fits nicely and is true to size. I am 5' 2" and will mostly hem the underskirt to below the knees since I wear flats. This dress will be perfect for spring!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this so I ordered it in both 2x and 3x. I tend to fall right between 2x and 3x in Vixen and LFEN stuff, with 2x items usually being too small in the bust/back and arms.
The 2x fit - even my big left arm - but I felt the 3x (which is now my "usual" size for this brand) was the better choice. The 3x was easier to zip without being too big, and the boning in the sides of the bodice didn't bulge oddly like they did with the 2x. The sizing differential between the two wasn't that extreme.
Overall, I like the dress. It's about what I expected and I think it will work well for me!
Watch the belt sizing - both the 2x and 3x versions of this dress came with belts stamped 3x.

seriously... bury me in this dress! It fits like a dream! I’m so glad i listened to the wonderful customer service team and stuck with my normal size! Size medium- bust 37, waist 29! The lace is so perfect and not at all scratchy!

SHE'S HERE! I received the Mourning Dress last night and tried on today. I'm wearing my usual 3x and although it's gorgeous, I could of easily sized down. Will be exchanging this beauty for the 2x. But trust me when I say this, the fabric is absolutely amazing. So soft and wearable without having to worry about any itching.
