Arrived with the post broken, so the belt doesn't clasp. I can glue it back on but it doesn't feel secure so I'll probably secure the hands together permanently some other way and use one end of the leather to open/close the belt instead, disappointing for the price.

The clasped hands were originally created in the Victorian era and later adopted by Elsa Schiaparelli in her 1934 Fall/Winter show as a nod to the surrealist art movement. This belt had a resurgence of popularity in the 70's proving how timeless this belt truly is. Vintage versions are very sought after.
We have taken care to replicate the iconic 1970s Victorian revival belt with hands crafted from a sturdy metal alloy base. The front prong closure clasps the hands together whilst the thick genuine leather belt has 3 sets of adjustable snaps to give it updated versatility and size inclusion from size XS-4X
It comes packaged in our stylish logo black Saffiano textured box, making it an ideal gift.
Antique Brass Plated Hands are made of zinc alloy metal. The hands measure 4.75"(12 cm) in length, 2.75"(7 cm) width

The belt far exceeds my expectations. The gun metal is a great color, the perfect dark grey that is not too shiny. I have a 26” natural waist snd ordered the small. Fits great.
I love the belt the metal hands feel heavy and the belt was nice, my only issue is the hook popped clean off. I was so disappointed as I really liked it. I like it enough that'll I'll epoxy it and try to keep using it. But for the money I was hoping it would be sturdier.

This belt is everything to me! I sized up to a 4x and it is such a stunner! I normally wear a 3x and they were sold out when I wanted it so I tried to size up. The adjustability made it’s a great fit.

I’ve wanted this belt for a long time, and was hesitant because of the price, but I was able to get it as a recent Black Friday purchase. It’s gorgeous; really more than an accessory, and it will add to any outfit that I pair it with. I got the 3x, and at first it seemed snug, but it now feels just right.
fits my 70-75cm waist out of the box (smallest setting). it’s actually rather heavy and wide (1 3/4 inch strap and 2 inch finger to finger). I’m rather aware of my shorter body, but strangely, it did not look bad on me at all. I enjoyed wearing it
Forgive the "unstyled" picture, I opened up the (beautifully packaged) box and had to try it on immediately. I have wanted one of these belts for so long! I'm already subconsciously letting this piece dictate what clothing I allow in my closet lol. It's quite heavy, but I love that. It doesn't feel like the cheap stretchy waist belts on Amazon and it adds a certain structure and craftsmanship that you don't see from an industry dominated by fast fashion. I was hesitant on sizing, my waist is 30 inches but ordering online can be tricky even if you go by the size chart. I got a Medium and it is perfect. However, I feel like I could have also gotten away with a Large since it is adjustable.
Such a well made belt, that brings a different feel to any outfit. Be aware that the metal hands are heavy, but I’ve never been uncomfortable when wearing this.

I adore this belt and have been looking for one like it for a long time. Although, I do think it runs small for a XL. I have to wear it on the loosest button to fit around my waist. Otherwise it is heavy and good quality for sure!

Can we just all agree this is the most amazing belt ever! It looks amazing cinched at the waist or looser / lower. Strong, beautiful, whimsical, purposeful and extremely practical to adjust. The gunmetal finish is an absolute chameleon... light and dark at the same time. This belt looks fabulous on so many LFEN or Vixen dresses, skirts, pants or cardigans. It elevates all clothing it is worn with. While the gunmetal is my favorite shade I'm also looking forward the getting the brass version.

This is probably the best and the coolest belt I own by far! I never thought I’d get my hands on a belt like this especially as I am plus sized and it’s hard to find cute belts, it’s weighty and you can feel the quality of it! Only thing I would say is that it’s a tad hard to adjust the sizing but I think that will ease once worn in ❤️

I am a fan of Victorian Era fashion, indeed I am part of a local Victorian Ladies Society. The mourning hands belts are difficult to find, even the 1970s replicates are coveted and pricey. This repo is amazing. I struggled between wanting brass and gunmetal, I am glad I purchased the gunmetal as I wear a lot of silver colored metal jewelry. The belt is heavy, I knew it would be, but it still surprises me how hefty it is. It is stunning and adds drama to any piece. Highly recommend. I need to get a brass one and hang a chatelain from it.

Beautiful belt, very well made but it’s too small for me. I don’t know if I measured wrong or if I am just too fat! I can get a different belt to use with the hands and work on weight loss.
Belt is very sturdy and weighty. Leather is thick. The adjustable snaps seem sturdy too. The hands are a lot bigger than expected They seem smaller in the photos. Overall the look is quite creepy. Only complaint is the excessive wait. I purchased this in July for arrival ends of August It’s now MID October That’s just too long to make customers wait.
