The Victorian Hands Belt exudes the timeless sophistication of a bygone era. The clasped hands were created in the Victorian era and later adopted by Elsa Schiaparelli in her 1934 Fall/Winter show as a nod to the surrealist art movement. This belt had a resurgence of popularity in the 70's proving how timeless this belt truly is. Vintage versions are very sought after.
We have taken care to replicate the iconic 1970s Victorian revival belt with hands crafted from a sturdy metal alloy base. The front prong closure clasps the hands together whilst the thick genuine leather belt has 3 sets of adjustable snaps to give it updated versatility and size inclusion from size XS-4X
It comes packaged in our stylish logo black Saffiano textured box, making it an ideal gift.

New signature piece! I've had this belt on my wishlist for over a year and finally ordered it. It's even higher quality and sturdier than I was expecting. It came well packaged and with extra hardware for the hand clasp and adding buttons, which is incredible for fluctuating sizes! My only regret is not purchasing sooner.

I loved this belt for ages, and saved up for it whilst it was out of stock. Nothing like it available in the UK. I preordered and followed its journey with antici….pation. All I can say is that it was worth the wait. Fantastic quality, gorgeous, weighty, and wearing it feels like a warm hug. A fault was quickly remedied by the lovely folks at LFEN. Go for it. Might start saving for the brass one now….
Absolutely gorgeous belt. Feels very sturdy and well-made. I wear mine on the hips so went a few sizes up which worked fabulously. Looks and feels really premium. An instant favorite!
So beautiful!! Exactly what I was looking for. The only thing about it is that the leather and adjustable straps aren't as ideal when you need to widen it to wear at the hips instead of the waist but it works

This belt is gorgeous! Looks and feels very high quality, and I just know it's gonna last for years so I'm thrilled about that. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but I can't wait, it's gonna be a beautiful addition to any outfit! Was in between S and M, so I decided to get the M to be safe, and I'm glad I did, perfect fit and easily adjusted to wear looser for more casual outfits. Would buy it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it!

This belt will make you feel powerful. It’s also easy to adjust so it can sit at different heights on different outfits. The leather is soft on both sides so it won’t chafe delicate fabrics. The hands hardware is very solid and a little heavy, but feels well balanced with the wider leather belt. & just gorgeous over a corset.
This belt is one of the favorite pieces I own. Bought for my wedding outfit, I sewed a color matching belt to use the hands on using the leather design which is brilliant and simple with the snaps! I wear the belt with so many outfits now. Perfect for cinching sweaters / dresses! Best belt ever!! I get compliments constantly!

This is very well made. I had measured myself before preordering, unfortunately (fortunately I guess) I've lost some weight so it doesn't fit as snuggly. It did come with additional hardware so I can adjust it, however I have to puncture the leather to do so. I was hoping it would be a bit easier to adjust the size.
I absolutely love it! I've wanted this belt for so long and am so excited I've finally got it. I was worried medium might be too big but I love it is adjustable. It's perfect!!

I ordered this belt for my girlfriend and she loves it! She wears it frequently and comments often on how well it goes with her outfits. She only wishes there was a XXS size to fit her better. There were some hiccups during ordering & shipping, but the LFEN team was always quick to reply to my emails and provide information. I would be very happy to order from them again!

In love with this belt! I followed the size chart recommandation for my waist size and it fits perfectly. The clasp is beautifuly made and feels heavy and secure. I might be tempted to get it in another color :)
The style of the belt is unique and eye-catching, but the quality isn't what I had hoped, given the high price point. I have one belt purchased last month that's in good condition that I'm keeping, but the next one I ordered arrived with a defect in the leather (an area that's creased and cracked), AND a defect in the buckle (the hook that holds the buckle together is loose and won't stay put. It's also at the wrong angle, so the hands slip apart). I know the belt isn't supposed to be like that, because the one I bought last month doesn't have these problems. I recommend this item if you're in love with the design enough that you're willing to take the chance that you may need to exchange/return.

Beautiful belt! I love that this is made with real leather and metal, it has a very solid weight to it and looks like it was made with care. One thing to consider is that because the clasp of the belt is asymmetrical, the thumbs can dig into your waistline if you're wearing thin layers. Wearing thicker canvas or a corset makes it much more comfortable. Sizing guide is accurate for this belt as well.
I have been dreaming of this belt! Saw some others online that were vintage or different brands but THIS ONE! La Femme En Noir NEVER disappoints. The belt was carefully wrapped in a cute sturdy box, the belt itself upon holding it you can tell the quality is very worth it. This belt is going to last me years, I loved how it came with extra snap buttons just in case. I can’t get over how luxurious this belt is. It’s definitely going to become a staple piece in my wardrobe! If you’re hesitant at all, trust me it’s worth the jump. The price is very good considering how perfect everything is and the shipping was so fast.
Where do I begin? Ive wanted one of these belts or similar since I saw Crimson Peak in theatres. I only wish I had been able to afford the entire collection (especially the fear dress which I adored) as everything offered was BRILLIANT! But this belt, this belt I have coveted for years and finally being able to have it has been a dream come true!! Its absolutely beautiful in person and I cannot wait to wear it. The leather is strong and can hold the weight of the hands beautifully. The hands are expertly made with no dings or damage. They are a studry reliable weight - much like a friend whos there for you in your grief. I love, LOVE that the belt is adjustable because it means I will be able to wear this stunning peice for years to come and, I can even make additional belts to wear with the hands. Truly, I am so completely thrilled to finally have this coveted peice in my collection.
